No, charging is always free, during and after your booking. Regular chargers (AC): at the end of your booking you connect the car to a regular charger using the cable in the car. If the battery is below 50% when you end your booking, you have to plug in at a charger within the car's parking zone. You'll find these chargers in every neighbourhood along the public road. Fast chargers (DC): during your booking you may also use fast chargers for free. Low battery level? Then use a fast charger to quickly add 100 km in ±10 minutes. You'll often find these at petrol stations along motorways (e.g. BP, Shell, Fastned, etc).
